Manny Putz of Team Sty-U fought to the finish line for the victory at NXR Heartland, but finished a tenth of  a second out first with 14:32.1. Putz finished sixth, one spot out of qualifying for NXN, last year. The two-time Wisconsin champion will compete on the national stage for the first time.
